Общие понятия: Колесо способностей – это наглядное представление всех доступных навыков, способностей и их зависимостей. Счет кругов ведется начиная с внешней стороны. Каждый навык или способность имеют свою стоимость, выраженную в очках. Количество очков зависит от уровня героя и вычисляется по формуле 10+5*(уровень-5). Для изучения навыков или способностей нужно иметь необходимое число свободных очков. Число выбранных способностей в каждом из секторов, не может превышать числа взятых навыков из этого же сектора. Максимальное количество выбранных способностей в одном секторе равно трем. Если к какой-либо способности идет стрелка от другой способности, это значит, что эта способность требует её изучение, прежде чем она станет доступной. Если число стрелок идущих к способности больше единицы, то для изучения способности необходимо изучить все требуемые способности.
Система навыков находится в тестовом режиме. Во время тестирования возможны изменения в эффективности навыков/способностей и их стоимости, а перераспределение выбранных умений доступно игрокам в любое время и полностью бесплатно.
Помимо этого, были сделаны следующие изменения:
Перенесены школы 1-2 уровней на уровень ниже: Школа магии и бойцов 1-го уровня теперь доступна для постройки с 5-го уровня; Школа магии 2-го уровня доступна для постройки с 8-го уровня; Новая школа бойцов 2-го уровня доступна для постройки с 10-го уровня в замке варваров. Новая академия магии света доступна для постройки с 10-го уровня в замке магов.

Для усиленного магического удара Тёмных Эльфов теперь требуется изучить особую способность «Тёмная сила».
Изменена скорость восстановления маны, теперь ее полный запас восстанавливается за 30 минут, независимо от знаний.
